The Paramount Chief of Tunkia Chiefdom, Alhaji Amara Goway Jobo Sama has been reinstated by the Local Government Minister, Maya Moiwo Kaikai, who suspended him about three weeks ago.
The Minister said, the Chief has realized his actions and openly apologized. He (the Chief) promised that total peace will continue in his Chiefdom. The Chief promised to work positively with his subjects to foster development in the interest of all and sundry.
The Minister cautioned all Chiefs. He said all Chiefs are responsible for any breach of the peace. He said no one is permitted to use any form of society to intimidate anybody that does not belong to the society. The law will take its course against any defaulter. He vowed to take action against any Chief who does not uphold the peace.
The reinstated PC Alhaji Amara Goway Jobo Sama, said he promised his audience that he will continue to live up to the expectations of all. He called on his subjects to remain law abiding and there is no more problem between him and the government and his people.
