On Tuesday, 6th September, three accused appeared before Magistrate Albert Moody at the Siaka Steven’s street Magistrate Court no.2, for sexually penetrating four children.
The accused, Moseray Lombie, Abdulai Bundu Bangura and Hassan Ajamie, were charged separately since the incident took place on different occasion and in different places.
According to the various files, it was alleged that Moseray Lombie sexually penetrated a 14 year old girl; Abdulai Bundu Bangura sexually penetrated a 13 year old girl and a 10 year old girl; and Hassan Ajamie sexually penetrated a 15 year old girl.
In the chamber of the magistrate, the charges were read to the various accused though they were not permitted to make any plea.
The prosecution witnesses in the matter involving Hassan Ajamie were the only witnesses present in court. Prosecution witnesses in respect of the other cases were however absent during the hearing of the matter.
Moseray Lombie and Hassan Ajamie will appear in court this Friday (9th September) while Abdulai Bundu Bangura will appear again on Thursday 8th.
Meanwhile all the accused are remanded at the Pademba Road Male Correctional Centre.
