Sierra Leone News: Son sent to jail for threatening his mother

Alhaji Mansaray, also known as “Labista” of Cemetery Road in Kenema was convicted of Using Threatening Language contrary to section 3 (1) of the Public order Act no. 46 of 1965. Mansaray made his final appearance in Court 2 in Kenema before Magistrate Joseph Tobi. He was sentenced to two months imprisonment or pay a fine of Le500,000.
On Saturday 1 October 2017, Mansaray used threatening language with his biological mother, Baby Mansaray to provoke her to commit a breach of the peace.
