Mohamed Adekalie Bangura, a Presidential Aide to President Ernest Bai Koroma has distributed three hundred bags of Rice to people he has described as ‘sufferers’ in the All Peoples Congress Party in Bo City.
Speaking at the distribution ceremony held along Old Rail Line in Bo on Monday, Bangura said that since he was in Bo in 1966 he knew the people who have suffered for the APC and want to see it get to a higher height.
“Since I left this country and I came back I have been fighting hard to ensure that those suffering in the party are well catered for as the APC party is not an ungrateful party,” he said, adding that he left Bo because they burnt his house and killed his wife.
He disclosed that whenever he meets with the president he will tell him the way the people are suffering and always call on him to help the people out of the hardship, adding that this was followed by his appointment as presidential Aide and that he is grateful to president Koroma for it.
“I want you to know that APC party does not forget people suffering for the party’s growth and that you should be patient,” Bangura said noting that “it is three months ago that I got the appointment as Presidential Aide from President Koroma.”
The Presidential Aide said that it is always good to talk about the good things that APC is doing so that people will be motivated to remain to be APC, adding that even the cloths that he wears it was APC that gave it to him.
Bangura said that the people should continue to exercise patience as President Koroma is always thinking about them as he is determined to do the best for the development of this country.
Beneficiaries of the rice lauded the move taken by Presidential Aide to think about those suffering for the Party and called on him to continue thinking about them as nothing will make them move to other party.
One Sulaiman Konte said “the rice we have received is a clear indication that APC is a grateful party.”
