Queues at various filling outlets countrywide are expected to be over by this morning, following the arrival of 7,000 metric tons of petrol by the National Petroleum (NP) yesterday.
Immediately it arrived, after the administrative obstacles over the past three days, NP went into full scale operations to start loading tankers, while Total had continued loading without any disruption.
Total had earlier cushioned NP’s situation, with some tankers supplying outlets from their installation.
However, a spokesman for the oil industry, confirmed to Awoko that Diesel supplies remain in stock, and called on the public not to indulge in panic buying as they do not envisage any shortfall within this Ebola crisis, as petrol and diesel are to tackle the crisis for the movement of victims across the country for treatment.
