The newly elected President of Sierra Leone Table Tennis Association (SLTTA), Obi Frazer, said the delegates have made the right decision to appoint me as your President. He made this statement when he went unopposed as he was the only Presidential candidate. He stated that he wants to make sure that he is able to do more than the former President, Alie Lakish, who did a lot to develop the game. For that reason we are going to start where the former executive left off. The former President, Alie Lakish, in his own statement, said today is a very important day in the history of table tennis as we are going to have a new executive that will run the association for the next four years. He stated that the Table Tennis Association is one family and the sky is our limit. He said during the four years in office, he is very proud of the executive as they were able to develop the junior players in the country as they exposed them both locally and internationally. The Deputy Director of Sport, Lambert Sesay, who conducted the election alongside the desk officer, said that he is happy for what he saw. A president who served for only one term is taking the exit for another person to take over. The other executive positions are: Aminata Turay – Vice President, Arnold Datton Battis – Secretary General, Prince Kaitonqi – Financial Sec/Treasure, Abraham Cobba Sesay – PRO, John Bobson Taylor – Administrative Secretary, Ex-officio (1) Alie Lakish, Ex-officio (2) Emmanuel Lebbie.
