Seven Police applicants were caught with exam questions and answers that were apparently leaked prior to the police entrance examination held on 20 May 2017.
Isatu Sesay, Alie Koroma, Foday Karim, Alpha Mohamed Kargbo, Olu Mathews and Maviana Mansaray were arrested on Saturday, during the exam, at the Ahmadiyya Muslim Secondary School at the Kissy Dock Yard, in Freetown.
The accused are charged with the offence of Attempting to Obtain Admission into the Sierra Leone Police Force by Fraud, contrary to the Police Force Act No. 42 of 1964.
On Tuesday 23 May, at the Siaka Stevens Street, Magistrate Court, the seven accused plead guilty to the offence as charged. The matter was adjourned to Friday 26 May. The accused are remanded at the Correctional Centres in Freetown.
