Jenner Koroma bought stationary including computers, printers and other accessories on credit worth Le145 million from David Isiraojie, Chief Executive Officer of LIKHEOA International Agency. He was charged with Obtaining Credit by Fraud contrary to the Debtors Act of 1869.
He appeared before Justice Alusine Sesay in October 2017, there he pleaded guilty to the offence as charged.
On 23 October 2017 the Judge released him from prison on the condition that he should go out and ensure that he raise the money and pay back his debt but he was unable to meet the condition.
High Court Judge Alusine Sesay has stated during court proceedings last Friday 20 April 2018 that he will sentence a convicted debtor, Jenner Koroma to serve not less than 10 years at the Correctional Centre in Freetown, on 30 April 2018.
Justice Sesay last Friday remanded Koroma to the Correctional Centre. JC/21/4/18
