According to Hon. Sannoh, MPs from SLPP spoke about the Le555 billion asset that was left but forget to put before the House the Financial Statement of 2007 that clearly explained the country’s financial strength and debt.
MP Sannoh cited paragraph 15 of the late President Kabbah’s handing over speech of 2007. “The government left over Le500 billion as bank balance.” Hon. Sannoh disclosed, “to be specific, they left Le555 billion, as a bank balance”.
The Honourable maintained the 2017 Auditors General’s Report that has to do with the accounts, assets and liability of the country disclosed the actual financial status of the country in that year.
