Sierra Leone News: A passionate man called Moseray Fadika

At some point in our lives, we have all had a relationship with someone; a parent, a teacher, a friend or employer perhaps who greatly changed the way we look at life and the world. Someone who had high standards and truly stood for something. Someone who inspired and motivates us. Someone who taught us to set goals and instilled the confidence and spirit to achieve them. Such a person is a true leader. Today, we are surrounded by people like Moseray Fadika we may call leaders in business, in education, in the arts and in government. But we are suffering from a scarcity of genuine leadership. So if someone like Moseray Fadika has intentions it is his right and I believe he would have the support he needs to succeed. After witnessing so much deceit and such frequent abuse of power, many people have stopped trusting their leaders. Still, no matter how cynical we may grow, we resign ourselves to the fact that we need someone to keep our various houses in order. Since we are so preoccupied with our own lives, we are willing to elect or appoint officials to manage the affairs of the land. Moseray Fadika has been in the limelight these past years for so much passionate things he has done. Those who Super as he is fondly called will tell you how friendly, passionate and helpful he has been long before African Minerals was established. Super today is a household name in the country because of all he had done in Sierra Leone working to improve the lives of many people working for African Minerals and the entire country. Moseray Fadika who many Sierra Leoneans refer to as Philanthropist has done so much for this country that people are now clamouring around him to even go for the presidency. Yes, we do need leaders like Super. On our own, we lack the vision, direction, and strength to reach our goals. We all begin our lives in need of guidance – even the most precocious child could not possibly be expected to make certain crucial decisions. Once we become adults, with the capacity to reason for ourselves, we are so overwhelmed by the pressures of daily survival that we rarely find the time and energy to focus on life’s larger issues. And when we do, our emotions and inherent subjectivity limit our vision and constrict our movement. If Super has the intention and if he believes in himself then let him prepare himself to the challenges ahead. He has the personality and charisma to stir up the debate and to take such position in the country. The road will be long, but if he is grounded and well prepared then he has what it takes in the future. Super has name that is beyond African Minerals, he has been a popular guy long time ago helping people with the meagre funds he has, so when God blessed him it was not a surprise to see him doing so much for people. Moseray Fadika is a Godfather of All Works Of Life (AWOL) he was the founding member together with Junior Navo and today AWOL is one of the best institutions in the country. Moseray is selfless, devoted, visionary, courageous, and above all, humble. When God chose Moses to lead His people out of bondage in Egypt, Moses replied, “Who am I, that I should go unto Pharaoh?” (Exodus, 3:12). Indeed, “Moses was humbler than any man on the face of the Earth” (Numbers, 12:3). We must recognize the characteristics of Super – not only so we can weed out the demagogues, but so we can freely embrace him when he does emerge. When people sincerely believe in him, they rise above their petty self-concerns. They become eager to accept him and his input, and he will be inspired to accomplish far more than he could have on his own. By recognizing the characteristics of a true leader like Super, we will set a standard for our leaders and, more important, for ourselves. Setting his sights on the summit, even when he has yet to arrive there, is the surest way of completing the journey. I want to assure him that he must believe in himself, that he can be responsible and decent no matter the challenges. Remove anything from your life or possessions which tempt you away from your goal. Compare the opinions of others and thoughtfully consider whether their opinions are correct or false before following their suggestions. Make sure you choose friends who will help you uphold your decision to live decently and responsibly, so you can set a positive target for each day and make efforts to actualize it. Finally dress appropriately for your morals. Remember that in order to unite people who are diverse by nature, there needs to be one leader who is a servant to the cause, whose sole role it is to teach and inspire and perpetuate the activities of the movement.
