Pending visit to various schools within the western region in a bid to promote Development and Agriculture, as a profit-making business EMF intends to embark on a national sensitization on the importance of farming.
Especially at a time when the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and the Ministry of Agriculture Forestry and Food Security (MAFFS) has declared that there is a Fall Armyworm outbreak in Sierra Leone sensitization is imperative.
Research has shown how music and videos have been instrumental in disseminating vital information that reaches every nook and cranny in Sierra Leone, EMF founder Sfano explained. “I want to use music to change the mindset about agriculture… I need sponsors to come on board to push this initiative” he appealed.
Everybody Must Farm (EMF) is a non-profit making, Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) registered and established in Sierra Leone. Our aim is to promote massive farming practices and the knowledge to accept agriculture as a profit-making and dignified business in our communities.
A musical album title ‘Everybody Must Farm’ and its video was produced and released in 2015 to help propagate this project. In the past, several successful meetings and promotional activities were held within Sierra Leone to help our dream come true.
“Hon. Minister of Agriculture and members of EMF has taken a motion to stage “Massive Awareness Raising Actions” nationally,” he said.
