Destiny movie stars production Sierra Leone would be screening their movie tomorrow 20th May 2017 at Tropicana hall, the former liberty atrium.Desperate journey is a story about Santigie. A village lad who had difficulty in making ends meet in his community. However, because of his impoverished social strata, Santigie had little or no respect in his community. He was continually browbeaten by his village crush, a native beauty who wants more to life than a poor village love . Tired of ill-luck in whatever he does in the village, Santigie decided to brave it to the big town in search of urban fortune. However, to go to the Big Town , one had to cross the Murtala forest and the seven demands of Murtala river which a fool hardly dares to traverse. As he embarked on his Desperate Journey for success through the Murtala forest , He came across a corpse which refused burial unless his family pay his debt which was 20 cowries . Albeit the fact, Santigie does not know the decease, Santigie with only 30 cowries in his position pay the creditor and help the to bury the decease . He made it through the Murtala forest with the help Masida, the king of the forest daughter. He eventually made it to the Murtala river, there a guy called Momoh. who is more like a brother to him. Both crossed the Murtala to the big town. Momoh helped santigie to become very successful in the big town. Subsequently, Santigie fell in love with the Princess. However, The princess was cursed, any man she got married to will die by snake bite. Against all odds Santigie got married to the princess and was subsequently attacked by the snake without Santigie knowing who saved him. Three weeks later, the princess got pregnant and gave birth to a boy. Santigie and some elders decided to go for Luma to sell the plant harvested.After Santigie left for Luma, Momoh asked for the head of Santigie’s son head before the king and his subjects. On the process cutting off son’s head, the princess was shocked and gave birth to a snake body. Momoh, started to explain the curse the princess was carrying, that caused the dead of the men that got married to the princess before. It was cause by a demonic spirit, which her mother, the Queen who had a convenient with the forest spirit who promised to give her child but in that He will live in as her husband. The queen out of desperation for a child and to end her barrenness plight for the king not to banish her from the Kingdom. The queen got pregnant and gave birth to the Princess but died in the process of given birth. The princess grew up not knowing that she has a curse. He concluded by saying, it all over.Santigie from Luma with a stranger who recognized Momoh as a ghost. Momoh eventually disappeared, that was when Santigie was able to put thought together and realized that his guardian Angel who has responsible for all his success was the decease he settled a debt for, on his way to the Big Town. The king later told Santigie that before their arrived. Momoh has told us that when you returned from Luma you should go back to your village because your father had kicked the bucket and your mother has become a reproached to the people of Mabarter. He said you must use your newfound wealth to develop your village. The next day Santigie says farewell to the king and the people of the land for there reception on his arrived with Momoh. He went along with the Princess, one maid and the lead warrior of the Kingdom.Momoh appeared to Santigie on his journey back to his village to show his last farewell but this time round no body seemed him.
