Freetown, SIERRA LEONE – The Sierra Leone Cycling Association, esteemed for its premier cycling events, is gearing up to host the 20th edition of the Inter-Clubs Race Picnic from Waterloo to Kent. Over 50 cyclists from across the country are slated to partake in this exhilarating race, scheduled for Sunday, January 14th, 2024.
This annual race picnic, a signature event for the association, takes on a new dimension this year as it transforms into an inter-club’s race. Various cycling clubs are expected to participate, adding a competitive edge to the spirited event.
The race will kick off officially from Waterloo, following a slow-paced start at the National Stadium by either the Minister of Sports or the National Olympic Committee President.
