Sierra Leone-born defensive midfielder Trevoh Chalobah has signed for Championship side Huddersfield Town from Chelsea on a season-long loan.The youngster last season played for Ipswich Town on loan. Chalobah, 20, last season played for Ipswich Town making 44 appearances at Portman Road and scored twice. Trevoh tweeted: “Can’t wait for the new season. Happy to be joining on loan for the season, I will give my last breath too see this fantastic club get back to the premier league!

The young Chalobah, who is in line to make his debut against QPR, won the UEFA Youth League in 2016, as well as back-to-back FA Youth Cups, while on the international stage he lifted the European Championship trophy with England Under-19s in 2017. He will wear the number eight shirt for The Terriers, and his new Chelsea contract is until at least 2022.
