The Sierra Leone U-20 National team Shooting Stars have qualify to the next stage of the competition after they lost by a goal to nil on Friday in Algeria in the second leg of the competition
Shooting Stars lost by a lone goal to go through to the next stage by 2-1 aggregate after winning the first leg in Freetown 2-0.
This particular qualification has brought hope to Sierra Leonean football after the country has been eliminated from two competitions in a period of two weeks.
However, Shooting Stars has made the difference by bringing smile to Sierra Leoneans.
According to the information, the Sierra Leone U-20 side is expected to play against the Gambia U-20 on July 17 in Banjul the Gambia in the first leg and in two weeks time the second leg will be played in at the National Stadium.
The team arrived yesterday from Algeria and they received a warm welcome from the SLFA executive and some members of the public for their brilliant performance in Algeria.
