Candidates for the forthcoming West African Senior
School Examination have benefited from a day’s
sensitization on examination ethics in Port Loko. The programme, which was organised by WAEC, was to encourage candidates to study hard and have confidence in themselves during their exams period. Chairing the programme, the vice principal of the Port Loko Teachers’ College, Ahmed Adakwa Koroma urged pupils from the various schools to make proper use of the opportunity so as not to blame anybody for penalties against them when found conducting unethical behaviours during exams.m Head of WAEC, M.M Sapateh, informed the pupils that they were responsible for conducting exams and awarding certificates to students but that they had observed over the years that candidates did flout the rules and regulations of exams.
