As the Sierra Leone Football Association SLFA election gets more heated a veteran goalkeeper of Old Edwardians football club and Leone Stars who also played cricket for Sierra Leone, Patrick Dangawali has said selecting a President of SLFA is sensitive and should be treated not on political basis but on merits.
He said he knows what it takes to be a hero and the untold sacrifices involved and how long we have been down the ladder of pessimism and failure to win in international competition, adding we will always be a victim of lovers and fail to put our country on the world map of success.
According to Dangawali, Mohamed Kallon is a humanitarian of the first order and he is a patriot full of compassion. He appealed to all stakeholders to vote with their conscience for this young man that has a vision to put Sierra Leone on the world stage of soccer.
