On Friday, 31st October, Standard Chartered Bank (SCB) Sierra Leone formally opened its new Western Union Outlet, at Aberdeen Roads (Jays Guest House) in Freetown.
Commenting on the new outlet, SCB, Chief Executive Officer, Albert Saltson said that “the opening of another Western Union outlet by the bank signifies a right partner relationship with the people of the Aberdeen and Congo Cross environs.
This is a significant step in making Western Union services offered by SCB accessible to the people.
The Western Union brand is a well known brand in the money transfer business and Standard Chartered signed a global agreement with Western Union in 2006.
The launch of the Aberdeen Road Outlet is a continuation of Standard Chartered’s strategic partnership with customers and the people of Sierra Leone.
