Sierra Leone female cricket captain, Sarah Johnson, will depart today Thursday February 7, to undergo elite female training in Benoni South Africa slated for 8-13 February.
According to reports, Sarah is expected to join others from West, Central and Southern Africa, according to Sarah she is very happy to be part of this training and is going to do her best to make sure that she puts the country ahead.
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the association Francis Samura, said this is a great opportunity for Sarah to improve on his playing ability and knowledge about the game.
‘She has been a very good, disciplined and hardworking player. I believe this will be an added advantage to her and we hope she will deliver and make Sierra Leone proud’.
