Sama declares for PMDC National Publicity Secretary

The Regional Organizing Secretary east for the Peoples Movement for Democratic Change (PMDC) David Kekura Sama has declared his intention to contest for the position of the party’s National Publicity Secretary in the forth coming delegates conference.  David Kekura Sama told journalists that his party is a democratic institution which gives every member the Freedom and right to challenge for any executive position in the party. Sama said he is determined to challenge other members vying for the position .
as he commands support among the rank and file of the party. He said he is not in any way degrading the outgoing publicity secretary adding that he is confident that he will do better than his predecessor as there are more challenges ahead.
“I have served in various capacity within the party, therefore I have no doubt that I will make a good national publicity secretary” he assured the press. Mohamed Bangura the outgoing national publicity secretary said he is not against anybody contesting for the said position and any other position in the party.
He maintained that competence and commitment with good determination will count a lot during the elections. Bangura said a lot of people are eyeing various positions in the party, adding that he is prepared to accommodate all the contestants, “I have no doubt in any of these candidates coming up, I am happy because all of us are fighting for the betterment of the party in the nation” he concluded.
