Two of Sierra Leone’s beauties, on Sunday left the shores of Freetown- for the very first time- for a ‘Face of Africa’ audition in Ghana.
Ramatu Wurie, 22 and Neyorlyn Williams, 18 told Awoko at the Lungi International airport that this is the first time they are traveling out of Sierra Leone.
Neyorlyn explained that when she was much younger, are uncle often told her she looks like Naomi Campbell, adding that she became conscious of her beauty, “I watch my diet, I exercise often; and I’m very particular about my skin,” she said. Neyorlyn whose favorite designers brand is Calvin Kline, disclosed that she is not feeling shaky about the audition, “I have what it takes that was why I was selected in the first place, I’m confident that I’m going to make through.” For Ramatu her beauty, she said was “natural” “I eat as much as possible, I do not exercise; my beauty was handed down to me by my late mother,” she explained.
“I’m kind of frightened, now that I’m going to meet models from other parts of West African who have gone to modeling school, but nonetheless I’m confident-though not over confident- that I’m going to get qualified.
