Saffa Abdulai may take legal action against Ex-PLB Chairman

Old Edwardians FC Chairman, Emmanuel Saffa Abdulai, who also doubles as player in the team, may take court action against the former Premier League board chairman (PLB) Victor Lewis for impersonating as PLB Chairman. According to a letter written to Victor Lewis by Emmanuel Saffa Abdulai with the caption; “impersonating the Premier League Board Chairman reads; It has been brought to my Knowledge that you are not only still holding yourself out as chairman of the Premier League Board of the Sierra Leone Football Association, but you have gone ahead to attempt to organize a Premier League. Note; that this is illegal. you are no longer chairman of the Premier League Board. Your mandate was for one year and that has expired since the end of the Premier League, last year. Secondly, the Premier League Board is a sub-committee of the Sierra Leone Football Association executive, with the resignation of the executive or the expiration of the term of the executive, all sub-committee’s life span expire. Thirdly, with the resignation of the executive or expiration of the life span of the executive only a new executive can re-appoint the sub-committee premier league board. On this note; in your own interest, you should stop holding yourself out as chairman of the premier league board. The Premier League Board is no longer in operation until a new SLFA executive is elected. Such misrepresentation should stop forthwith. In conclusion I hope for your own good, you will adhere to my advice. Failure on your own part, will leave me no other option but seek the necessary legal remedies in the court of law”.
