Freetown, SIERRA LEONE – One of the Leone Stars players named in Coach John Edward Keister 25 man squad that should face Sao Tome and Principe in the double-legged match slated for 22 and 26 of this month in Morocco, Rodney Michael has been ruled out due to hamstring injury
After he was ruled out Rodney posted saying he was
“Disappointed to have to withdraw from the National team due to injury. As always, I wish the players and technical team all the best and I am optimistic they will get results that the nation will be proud of. I will now focus on recovering and getting back to 100% to be able to help my club team, and hopefully, the national team in future games”.
Rodney is expected to be replaced by one of the standing players which is expected to be announced by the head coach. BT/17/3/2023
