She disclosed that in her two years in the Volleyball field she has been able to learn a lot from some of her senior colleagues like Florence Amara who made her to love the game the more because according to her Florence has a passion for Volleyball.
She mentioned that if they can have about 10 people who have the passion for Volleyball like Florence Amara, volleyball will take a different turn in the country.
She also said that she has also represented her school in the inter-secondary athletics competition for which she took part in the hurdles and high jump. She says was always among the first three in the competition which made the school very proud of her.
She appealed to her other colleagues to take sports very serious as it is very good. Apart from volleyball and athletics they can also take part in other sporting activities in the country.
She said that her worst moment in volleyball was when her school was defeated by Methodist Girls High School last year. She says she felt very bad after losing the match to one of their arch rival as their main focus was to win the competition.
She however said that she later felt good when Freetown Secondary School for Girls(FSSG) won the competition as FSSG has a very good relationship with them in terms of sports.
Aminata went further to condemn school violence during sports meetings. She said those who are involved in school violence must stop such acts as violence is not good in sports.
She said they are organizing sports meeting not for violence but to keep those who are representing their various schools to exhibit their talent during the competition and to make new friends.
