Real Republicans one of the relegated teams in the Salone premier league has appointed seven man interim executive to run the club until they are able to conduct election
Former Republicans player Brima Mazola is the chairman of the committee, Albert Conteh, Joseph Toby, Unisa Bangura, Mohamed Kamara, Hassan Turay and Toks Harrison John.
One of the members Hassan Turay said they decided to appoint the seven man committee to redeem the team from is present status which is not good for a team like Real Republicans who have been one of the best in the country during the 80s.
When the former inspector General of Police the late Bambay Kamara was sponsoring the team all was well, but since his death the team has lost is place amongst the elites.
He said the team was relegated because of finances which was not available, he said that is why this present interim executive is trying to do everything possible to make sure that they pay the players their backlog salary of two months
He said they are going to bounce back to the Premier League but they need to restructure the club but assured supporters that the interim executive is doing everything possible to put the club back to his normal position of the 80s.
He also stated that they the interim executive will hold an executive meeting on Sunday and after that, they will hold a General meeting to explain to all the fans about the future and to appeal for them for their support.
