Two out of the three Provincial teams, Kamboi Eagles and Bo Rangers are leading the Sierra Leone Premier League in first and second position, respectively. The Eagles are in front by five points. They maintained their unbeaten run when they defeated Old Edwardians on Sunday at the National Stadium by a goal to nil. They have secured 16 points from six matches played with five wins and one draw. Bo Rangers, who are in second position, have secured 11 points from six matches winning three and losing one and drawing two. Ports Authority, who have played five matches winning three, losing one and drawing one. The defending champions, East End Lions, are in fourth position with 10 points from six matches played. The League will continue today Wednesday with Ports Authority playing against Central Parade who have failed to win a single match now in a relegation zone. On Thursday 24th January 2020, East End Tigers, in 8th place, secured eight points from six matches, will host 10th place, Freetown City FC, who have secured five points from six matches winning only one match while their opponent has won 2 matches. On Friday at the National Stadium, FC Johansen, who failed to win a single match will host Old Edwardians in an exciting match. The host, FC Johansen, is going all out to secure their first win while Old Edwardians cannot afford to lose three matches in a row, according to Issa Kamara, a fan of Old Edwardians. He said the best FC Johansen can do is to look for a draw. The League will continue over the weekend.
