The provincial secretary East, Alhaji Salia Magona, has commended the African Muslim Agency for its support towards development in Sierra Leone.
Alhaji Magona, who was addressing teachers, missionaries, and pupils at the Abdul Latif Secondary School in the Nyandeyama section in Kenema city during a courtesy call, said the African Muslim Agency had made a remarkable achievement in Sierra Leone‘s education sector.
He maintained that, “the African Muslim Agency is a mission that will serve as a path for others and encouraged the missionaries, teachers, and pupils to be religious.
The director of the Kenema Islamic Centre, Alhaji Faud Al-Naif Sahid, praised the provincial secretary and the government for the support given their mission.
Sheik Sahid disclosed that they had planned to build a university, and that very soon they would open an orphanage for 60 children.
He later took the provincial secretary on a conducted tour at the construction site of the would-be orphanage.
