Notably, there have been significant improvements in the number and percentage of candidates scoring in the A1 to C4 range in key subjects.
MBSSSE assured the public that they are closely analyzing the grade distribution for all subjects and will engage in discussions with the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) as necessary.
Furthermore, the release disclosed that district-level performance has also shown marked improvement in 2023 compared to the previous year. The average grade for all districts now falls within the credit grade range, ranging from 5 to 6.
In a remarkable development, the best-performing district achieved a stunning 79.4% of its candidates achieving credits or better in five or more subjects, including English Language and Mathematics.
