A member of the Sierra Leone Table tennis Association Prince Kaitongi may be expelled from the association and the reason given according to reliable sources, he forged the signature of the President of National Olympic Committee, Henry Moore.
He did it on the intention for seven of them to attend a Hello conference in Barcelona from the 30th of April to the 3rd of May in Spain.
The decision to expel Prince Kaitongi has been reached after the NOC executive met with some members of the association on Thursday May 13 at the NOC office.
According to information NOC are yet to take a decision on the matter as they are looking at what action to take and they will inform the public after.
According to President Moore he said three weeks ago he was informed by the Olympic solidarity that they have information from the International Tennis Federation asking for assistance for seven people that supposed to be members of the Table Tennis Association.
According to President, a member of the Olympic Solidarity, the Deputy Director Pamela Vipond who knew his signature decided to confirm it with him and it was discovered that his signature was forged.
He said he knew nothing about such competition and it was on those grounds he decided to inform the executive member of NOC and the Table Tennis Association.
According Moore during the meeting the President of the association after going through the seven names it was only Prince Kaitongi who was part of the association, the other 6 members were not part of the association. They are Abdul Hakim Sesay, Marion Sillah, Wilfred Ahmed Sesay, Ciifford Bola Thomas and Mohamed Lamarana Jalloh.
According to reliable information it was the same Prince Kaitongi who rang the NOC President and said he will him a lesson on grounds that President Moore failed to put him as part of the committee to organize the association coaching course programme.
