
President Ernest Bai Koroma on Tuesday met with his Nigerian counterpart President Musa Yar ‘Ardua at state house in Nigeria.
Welcoming his visiting colleague President Yar Adua thanked President Koroma for the visit saying that he is very honored in receiving him.
He said that the two countries have enjoyed bi-lateral relations over the years, pointing out the brotherly ties that have existed between the two countries.
Speaking to the press in Abuja President Koroma said that he is delighted to be in Nigeria saying that he has always considered Nigeria as a big brother in the sub region.
He said that he is in the country to further deepen the bilateral relations between the two nations, adding that during his meeting with President Yar ‘Adua they discussed issues relating to the development of the ECOWAS sub region.
President Koroma leaves Abuja today for Lagos where he will deliver the keynote address at the golden jubilee celebrations of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria.
