The Ports Authority football club has assured football fans that they are going to bounce back into the MTN champion league this weekend in the second leg encounter with their Senegalese opponent AS Douanes at the National Stadium in Freetown.
The arrival of two key players Pa Morlai Sesay and Ahmed Musa has strengthened the team compared to the team that played in Dakar.
Coach Diamond Toes also confirmed that having the two players in the team for the second leg encounter is a big boost as they are likely to create a serious impact in the team.
He describe striker Molai Sesay as a striker who always wants to score goals during matches and his presence in the field this weekend will create a serious problem for the opponents defence.
With the likes of Sulaiman Kamara, Alfred Williams, Pa Salieu Kamara, in the attacking machine alongside Pa Morlai Sesay, the Senegalese are going to find their opponents putting serious pressure on them from the start to the end of the match as they will be looking for two early goals to put them into the match
Coach Diamond Toes also said that he is going to appeal to his boys to be careful of their opponent as they are going to the match with one focus which is to score an early goal and start to defend doggedly and waste time during the match.
“We are not going to allow them to score any goal as that will affect our chances of eliminating our opponents in the competition.”
He also called on football lovers to cheer there boys into victory as they depend on Sierra Leoneans for their total support which will be an advantage to his boys.
Their opponents AS Douanes are expected to arrive today for the all important match this weekend.
