As the ongoing Salone Premier League gains momentum on Monday Ports Authority football team defeated Nepean Stars of Bo by two goals to nil (2-0) at the Bo Coronation grounds.
It was Nepean Stars second defeat in a row. During the match the visitors Ports Authority went into the lead 10 minutes into the start of the match scored by Suleiman Kamara. This goal reportedly gave the visitors an edge over their opponent Nepean Stars.
After the goal the visitors became more desperate looking for the second goal which never materialized until the end of the first half. During the second segment of the match the visitors increased the score line to two in the 79th minute of play.
The goal was scored by Bouba Kamara to dash the hopes of Nepean Stars who were fighting very hard to at least secure a draw at home which will not have been bad for the team.
This was the first victory for Ports Authority’s new coach Abubakarr Tostao Kamara since he took over the team about six days ago.
The league is expected to continue tomorrow at the National Stadium between the current league leaders East End Lions and Real Republicans.
