He expressed his determination to squarely face the challenges, and called on all to team up for the development of the constituency and the district as a whole, irrespective of one’s political affiliation.
The chairman of the self help project, Yayah APC Kabba, observed that the strides of the minister were steps in the right direction.
He said, “the people of Port Loko are very much optimistic that the minister will deliver us from burden”.
Yayah APC Kabba said the Rosarr Bridge which links Lower Majorke had been back filled and saved from collapse, with road maintenance in all the major streets of Port Loko being undertaken simultaneously in the district.
The project’s consultant, Abdul Ajasco Bangura, has already been sent by the minister and work has commenced in harness.
In another related development, the minister has opted to facilitate the construction of the Port Loko town football field, which is to be relocated to the back of the ministry of agriculture.
