The Director of Police media Ibrahim Samura has said that the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) Headquarters is investigating a case of murder involving Mohamed Juana aged 18 years, a first year student of Fourah Bay College.
The investigation he noted has been able to link the death of Mohamed Juana with an initiation ceremony carried out by the Island Club of Fourah Bay College on Saturday 20th December, 2008 at the back of Atlantic Restaurant, Lumley Beach.
The Criminal Investigations Department (CID) he added is looking forward to the under mentioned persons to assist the investigation and must in their own interest report themselves to the CID Headquarters or the nearest Police Station for the attention of CID.
These people were named as; Reginald Fallah-Turay, Solomon Tucker, Wahid, Aziz, Saidu Mohamed Conteh, Tennyson Swarray, Sheik Rahman Davies, Moinina Massaquoi, Jonathan Sorie, Yusuf Kargbo alias Step Up, Moseray alias Super Moss, Alfred Bash Kargbo, Mohamed Momoh alias JJ, Morie Kamara, Bola Nicol, Jonathan Sourie, Lebron James, Anthony alias Tony Rebel, Away Nicol, Michael, Milford Hanciles, Moi Lamina, J.J. He has warned that any of the above who fails to report himself or anyone found harboring or rendering assistance in any way to the above named persons to evade justice will be severely dealt with according to Law as such act or assistance is clearly a violation of the laws of Sierra Leone.
He confirmed that a handsome reward awaits anyone who provides useful information that may lead to the arrest of either any such person on the run or any one rendering assistance to any such person to evade justice
