The Chairman of PMDC Party, Mohamed Bangura has been suspended by the Party’s Executive for three years with effect from 27th May, 2010.
The letter reads:
“At a National Council Meeting of the party at which you fully participated held at the Party’s Headquarter on the 17th April, 2010, a committee was unanimously set up to investigate the effect of your letter on the party dated 29th March, 2010 addressed to Mr. Charles Francis Kondo Margai, leader of the P.M.D.C. with the following terms of reference:-
a. to critically study the letter addressed to the leader Mr. Charles Francis Kondo Margai and its subsequent effects thereafter.
b. whether the letter brought the party’s name into total disrepute’
c. other related matters.
On’ Thursday, 27th of May, 2010 the committee submitted its report and recommendations resulting in a majority decision of members present that you should be suspended from the party for a period of Three (3) years effective 27th
May, 2010. The suspension affects both your membership and your position as National Chairman of the party.
By reason of the above, I am directed as the National Secretary General of the party to convey to you the suspension referred to the above whilst wishing you well during the said term.
You are requested to handover to the secretariat all documents and other related items belonging to the party which are currently in your possession
