One of Sierra Leone’s renowned Cricketer, Emmanuel Pessima has resigned his position as Sierra Leone Western Area Development Officer, with immediate effect. The resignation letter was handed on Saturday November 3rd 2012. In the letter, he states that his resignation came about after lots of consideration regarding the execution of his duties, as development officer, as well as serving as chairman of the Kenemmanjane Cricket Club. He went further to state that he had decided to resign from the association, as he can no longer effectively perform his duties because he wants to spend more time with his club,in which he is the Chairman.
He stated that he is willing and ready to offer any advice to the association, regarding cricket development and any other projects,’ the letter stated. Pessima stated that his appointment as development officer came into being three months ago, and during this period until now, the association was unable to implement any project, even though he has written several projects for the association.
