Madam Sia Paul Dumba, a business woman in Koidu Town and also the daughter in-law of the late Paul Dumba who was the national chairman of the Sierra Leone People’s Party, had her own share of post-presidential result violence.
According to Sia, she was returning home from her shop when at Kainkordu Road she met a group of APC supporters jubilating and in the process one of the supporters, Fengai Musa alias (Fekus), kicked a child to which she intervened.
Fengai Musa allegedly turned on her and stabbed her in the head but his action was outrightly condemned by some onlookers and other supporters in the van.
The victim immediately reported the matter at the Tankoro Police Station, where she was asked to report to the Koidu Government Hospital for medical attention.
Madam Dumba further reiterated that since her return from the hospital to date, the police were yet to apprehend Fengai Musa.
When contacted at the Tankoro Police Station, the crimes officer said it would be unfair for him or any of his colleagues to arrest Fengai Musa because he too had reported to the police injuries sustained in his encounter with Sia.
However, police sources noted that the matter would be charged to court when both the complainant and accused would have submitted their medical reports.
