The Paramount Chief of Gallines Imperri Chiefdom in the Pujehun District P.C. Alhaji Kamara Koroma has bitterly complained of an ongoing plan by an unknown assailant to destroy the peace and tranquility of his chiefdom.
This is as a result of an on and off appearance of an unknown group of persons dressed in black at strategic locations of the chiefdom, much to the detriment of residents of the area. A report of the incident has since been lodged with the Police except that, little or nothing has been done to address the situation.
The chief however dismisses rumors of cannibalism scares but blamed it on outside sources that are either up to kidnapping or plan to destroy the existing peace with the ploy of intimidating local chiefs by a way of possibly hiding their agenda.
He further disclosed that the chiefdom is peaceful with absolutely no cause for any chiefdom riot, the Paramount Chief further warned all and sundry to henceforth desist from such practices, adding that all is being done to address the situation at chiefdom level.
He in turn called on the Police to timely assist to stop the situation from going out of control.
It could be recalled that all the chiefs in the Pujehun district have denied working with Local Court chairpersons imposed on chiefdoms by the APC Government and there has been growing tensions among chiefdom authorities.
