Par’ment receives 2 cars from Nigeria’s Assembly

Parliament has received two Peugeout prestige cars worth over $30,000 donated by the Speaker of the National Assembly of Nigeria.
Presenting the donation to Members of Parliament on Tuesday, the chief whip Hon Ibrahim Bundu of the APC said a request was made by the former speaker of parliament Hon Justice Edmond Cowan to the speaker of the National Assembly of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to help in vehicles.
Explaining further to Awoko about the donation, Mr Bundu said the Speakership of the Nigerian National Assembly in understanding the mobility problems of the Sierra Leone Parliament graciously donated the two Peugeout prestige cars.
Mr Bundu also said the administration at parliament was going to assess the most needed beneficiaries for the cars.
