As OXFAM winds up in Kailahun this June, its engineer and programme manager, Femi-Kuti George and Kate Bingley respectively, have requested residents of Gbowobu Gao community in Luawa chiefdom to return the stolen cement, meant to complete the community water well.
According to Mr George, five bags of cement were stolen by some ill motivated people, and that that had hindered the completion of the water well.
He threatened that if the committee was not monitoring project materials in building sites, they would withdraw support from the Gao community.
The town chief, Mohamed Lahai, observed that some people in the community were bent on derailing the progress of the community.
He promised to retrieve the stolen five bags of cement in the spirit of community development.
