The General Manager of the National Tourist Board (NTB) Cecil Williams has disclosed that over six hundred (600) new rooms have been added to the stock of two thousand five hundred (2,500) hotels and guest house rooms across various classes in the country during 2011.

Also the NTB General Manager disclosed that in 2011 “approximately 400 seats of restaurant facilities were provided country wide.”
Mr Williams attributed “these significant improved performances” to the “conducive climate for doing business in Sierra Leone” which has encouraged investment in the tourism sector.
