The National Revenue Authority is expected to award compliant large taxpayers, medium taxpayers and small taxpayers at the Family Kingdom, tommorow in Freetown.
According to the Commissioner of Domestic Tax Department Ibrahim Sorie Kamara, the awards are in recognition of outstanding tax payers who complied with the rules and regulations of the NRA Act.
He said the objective of the awards ceremony is to motivate tax-payers and staff of the authority for an effective compliance of tax payment.
He said awards will also be provided to the most complaint gaming and betting company, most compliant financial institution and the most compliant extractive industry.
Commissioner Ibrahim Sorie Kamara added that the most compliant clearing and forwarding agency, most compliant importer and retirees.
He also said that exemplary staff of the National Revenue Authority will also be awarded for their valuable contribution towards the success of the authority in meeting their targets.
The Minister of Finance and Economic Development Dr. Samura Kamara will deliver the keynote address and several distinguished personalities from the government and the private sector are also expected to witness the awards ceremony.
