The Northwest Region Football Association has concluded a successful Familiarization visit in Kambia District recently to dialogue and roll out intending football activities.
The Familiarization visit is in alignment with the Chairman’s 100 Days’ Action Plans; to dialogue with Community Stakeholders, the football family and District FA Executive Members for a fruitful engagement.
The Regional Chairman, Abdul Osman Turay was accompanied by Stakeholders from the Regional Mainstream Football Administration, together with SLFA Vice President II, Alie Badara Tarawallie to collaborate a unique engagement opportunity.
In his remarks after various speakers, the Regional Chairman, Abdul Osman Turay shared key items discussed during the SLFA Executive Committee retreat which was aimed at rolling out SLFA activities across all Regions.
These included: The New Football League Season to commence in September this year. Upon his request, the Executive Committee has approved Running Cost for all District FAs. SLFA to roll out Activity Calendar to all Regions for the attention of Clubs.
In collaboration with Stakeholders from the Mainstream Football Administration, the Chairman announced the following resolutions, a requirement before Clubs are accredited to participate.
All Division One Clubs are expected to produce bank statements with Five Million Leones in the accounts before the commencement of the Division One Competition slated for September 2021.
All Division Two Clubs are in similar trend expected to tender bank statements of Two Million Leones from their Bank Accounts before they are accredited for participation.
All Female Clubs are duly required to present Bank Statements with One Million Five Hundred Thousand Leones in their Bank Accounts to ascertain their participation.
