The attack on shops owned by Nigerians continued last night at Chosen Link Shop of 32 Regent Road when a shop owned by Tochuku Ilochi was allegedly looted.
When Awoko visited the shop there were no signs on the doors that it was broken into and the shelves were virtually empty except for empty cartons on the floor.
The owner was not around but an in-law of his, Nancy Yannie, explained that a lot of goods were stolen from the shop together with the goods of other people kept in it.
DVD players, generators and CD plates, according to Nancy, were stolen.
Orilele Olu Toyin, a member of the Nigerian Union delegate, explained that a Nigerian who stayed at Allen Town was on Wednesday attacked and that he received 17 stitches on the head.
They have already complained to the police and the Nigerian High Commission. But despite assurances from the police that the criminals will be chased, the Nigerians have closed their shops temporarily.
