The Ngombu community in Kenema has hosted the rotational police partnership board meeting.
The chairman of the board Dr. Sandi Bockarie said the idea behind the partnership meeting was to enhance cooperation between the community people and the police in combating crime in the society.
He said the partnership would continue to work well if the community people continued to give vital information to the police at all times.
The police Local Unit Commander, Vincent Nabieu said the visit was an indication that the police give priority to their security at all time.
The town chief, Ibrahim Mambu Belewa said they were glad about the visit, adding that it was good to take the police to the people always.
He called for the establishment of a police post at Ngombu community, saying the community was located far from the nearest police station.
