The officer commanding the Ngiegbema police post in the Tunkia chiefdom in Kenema district, Sgt. 5607 Kamara P.J, says that post now under construction will be completed in October, he tells Awoko.
Sgt Kamara, alias Bigger, commends the Assistant Inspector General of Police East Mrs. Elizabeth Turay for her timely intervention as the former police post was a dead trap.
He thanks the Sierra Leone Police for funding the construction, noting that the people of Ngiegbema and its environs have been giving their support and contribution towards the completion of the project.
The sergeant discloses that the construction work, which started in March this year, is expected to be completed by mid October.
He expresses satisfaction at the cordial relationship among the police, the Ngiegbema community and the people of Tunkia chiefdom.
