The National Grand Coalition party has written a Right to Access Information (RAI) request to the Governor of the bank of Sierra Leone, asking for details about allocations to the Office of the First Lady.
The RAI request dated 8th February, specifically asks for “Details of all payments made to the Office of the First Lady including allocations and the accounts (if any) held b y the Office of the First Lady at the Bank since April 2018.”
Secondly they requested “Details of all other transactions with projects and actions carried out. By the Office of the First Lady (such as the Hands Off our Girls project, etc.) since April 2018.”
No reason was shown in the letter to the Bank Governor, but the request might not be unconnected to recent revelations by the Africanist Press, for which the bank Governor will also be answering questions to parliament for today
