National Stadium will be 30 years on April 27

The National Stadium which was then Siaka Steven Stadium was completed and commissioned and officially opened to the public on April 27, 1979, will be 30 years of existence.
The Stadium was build during the visit of National team Leone Stars when they traveled to China in early 1974 to play a series of friendly matches
In order to justify the need for such a modern facility this single gesture from the China government has changed the lives of many youth in the country.
The National Stadium the only standard Stadium in the country and since its construction, only three renovation works have been done.
