The executive of the National Sports Achievers Association (NaSAA) has decided to organize another national female football league in mid February next year, in a bid to spot more talented female players.
Intimating Awoko Sports about the league, the President of the Association Alhaji K Tarawally disclosed that the purpose of organizing the league is to maintain the momentum in female football.
He then called for a concerted effort in order to achieve the desired objective.
He stressed that in order to have a successful National Sports award, other sporting disciplines should be considered; and not only football. Hence, the association he said has decided to postpone the first National Sports Achievers Award to December next year.
He then stated that a nine-man executive committee, including one ex-officio member has been selected to man the affairs of the organization. The executive members are Amara Bangali Sesay, Secretary General; Hon Nuru Deen Yillah, Local and International Coordinator; Ralph ESE Donnu Sawyer, Project Cordinator; Foday Fofanah, Financial Secretary; Momodu Koroma, Social Secretary; George Conteh, Public Relations Officer; Alimamy Sappor Kamara, Organizing Secretary and Edward Koroma, as ex-officio member.
