A meeting between officials of Namya Islamic Mission and the acting Deputy Director of Education South, S. B. Swaray has ended with the overwhelming denouncement of the mission’s proprietor Alhaji B. Kallon..The meeting comes against ongoing disagreement and stalemate between officials of Namya Islamic Mission and the Proprietor.
Cataloguing their complaints spearheaded by the Mission President Junisa Conteh, disgruntled officials of the mission were quick to not only denounce the position of proprietorship of Alhaji S.B. Kallon but to put into context alleged abnormalities and encompassing discrepancies on vouchers, coupled with salary delays and problems involving school subsidies, all of which has negatively impacted on the smooth running of the mission as a whole. Concluding, Namya Islamic Officials spoke of plans to take up their grievances with the Vice President for better attention and solution.
Responding, the Acting Director of Education South, S. B. Swaray said his office can only ensure that the school’s records are in order and they are complying with laid down regulations.
Speaking further, the Acting Deputy Director of Education denied having done anything extra and he further called for various complaints to be put in context for further documentation.
